A CHEF'S JOURNEY
Aptly named for his personal odyssey, the path of success for Chef Ignazio Mulei, leaving his native Sicilian home of Palermo to establish Odyssey Italian Restaurant, is the story of realizing his American Dream. Arriving in New York at age 18 with the treasures of Sicilian family recipes, Mulei worked his way up through hard work and determination.
In 2012, Mulei found his way home with his dream realized – the opening of Odyssey Italian Restaurant in Denver. Not only is his luscious cuisine savored for special events and destination dining at Odyssey, but Chef Ignazio Mulei is also sought after as a restaurant consultant, and is a leader in Colorado’s culinary community.
